I will sell no puppy without the following contract signed.

This is for the protection of both the puppy and myself, and also for the puppy's new family.

You are purchasing an exceptionally well bred Airedale Terrier puppy.  It has had all the advantages that my thirty plus years of breeding quality Airedale Terriers can give it.  I have been a devoted mother to the puppy and now it is your job and duty to continue what I have started.  The puppy knows that it is a dog, now it is time for the puppy to learn to be a civilized member of your home and heart!  A very big task lies ahead for you, for the first year will make or break your relationship with your soon-to-be best friend.

When you take your puppy home you will receive A COPY of its registration papers which will be marked limited because you have agreed that you are purchasing a pet puppy for companionship to be spayed/neutered.  THE REGISTRATION PAPERS WILL BE SENT TO YOU WHEN YOU PROVIDE PROOF OF NEUTERING/SPAYING. This puppy will be able to compete in AKC obedience, agility and hunt tests but not in confirmation shows.  Any offspring from this puppy will not be able to be registered with the AKC.

You will receive a certified copy of the three generation pedigree of both the sire and the dam and the health record, puppy menu and the food that I have been feeding, plus a binder full of information on raising a puppy.

If you are purchasing a male puppy and both his testicles have not descended by the time he is to be neutered (at about one year of age) I will pay the difference in the vet bill, from a simple neuter to a more complicated procedure.

AT ANY TIME, in the next FOUR months, if you cannot keep or do no longer wish to maintain the puppy, return it to me for a FULL refund.  The puppy must be in the same condition as when you received it from me (HEALTHY IN MIND AND BODY).  After that time period, I still want the dog returned to me at any time in its life.

I absolutely do not want any dog that I have bred to end up in a shelter!!!!!!!!!!

I guarantee this puppy to be of sound mind and body.  To the best of my knowledge and ability, the puppy is free of any serious defect.  If a serious HEREDITARY defect is found in the first three years I will replace the puppy.

Please be sure that you absolutely want a puppy.  Please be sure that you want an Airedale Terrier.  Please be sure that you and your family will have the time commitment necessary over the next two years to teach, train and care for the what will become 8 to 12 years (or more) with the best dog you've ever met.
